Sonya Julie believes that life is a beautiful miracle that each of us can embrace while following our unique path and purpose. Living an enlightened life in a practical way is a key part of her philosophy. She lives in Michigan where she enjoys time spent with family and loved ones throughout the four seasons.
Sonya is a Reiki Master, mentor, and teacher. Her spiritual background extends over three decades filled with training, community, and growth. Sonya facilitates workshops that cover topics such as meditation, vision boards, and healthy living. She has presented at conferences, libraries, and businesses.
Sonya builds websites, creates content for entities, and provides social media marketing. She helps authors to self-publish their books and create author websites. She is the owner of Ann Charles Media LLC along with Michael Dwyer, and together they enjoy boutique media creation for select entities.
Sonya has published columns in company newsletters and created freelance content for print and digital publications about health, spirituality, lifestyle, adventure, and community. Publications include The Oakland Press and Rochester Media.
Sonya assists in event administration coordination for Rochester Writers, Michigan’s best one-day conference, and other popular Michigan events such as the Path of Consciousness Spiritual and Writing Conference and Retreat.
Sonya enjoys blogging and she is currently writing her first fiction book in a series whose characters will explore practical spirituality in a modern world.

Sonya has a Bachelor of Business, two associate degrees, and years of professional development. She has worked in corporate environments for over 17 years, especially in finance and banking. She has also worked in bookstores, restaurants, a cider mill, a tailoring shop, and on a horse farm. She’s been a chef, a fitness coach, a ski instructor, and a camp counselor. She definitely enjoys variety.
Sonya enjoys volunteering. She has given her time to therapeutic horseback riding programs and organizations that serve children. She has served on the board for her local Hostelling International council, helping to foster connection through community. She also enjoys volunteering for the Wheatland Music Organization, a community that is passionate about the preservation and presentation of traditional music and arts.
She enjoys skiing, hiking, photography, travel, community, creating jewelry and art, reading, research, cooking, music, fitness, horseback riding, and spending time with loved ones and animals.
